Bio

With nearly eight years of professional, post-graduate experience and four years of post-secondary internships, I'm tackling a new endeavor as the first Sector Manager for the Civic / Community / Culture Market Sector at Page, a prolific and interdisciplinary design firm. This national role has allowed me to connect with a wider network of professionals, further promoting the thoughtful designs and community impact that results from Page projects. I support these creatives to deliver exceptional facilities, plans, and identities that are attuned to our clients’ unique requirements. We are rooted in the missions of cities, counties, and regional agencies, as well foundations, community enterprises, and arts and cultural institutions, to champion design that makes lives better. It's an absolute joy to work alongside individuals that exude such talent, and it's my honor to promote their work, stories, and legacies. My professional background is supported by a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from Houston Christian University, in addition to various certifications and continued education. I believe in being life-long student and this practice is made evident through my participation in TAMUT's Women in Leadership Certificate Program, both as a student and Program Advisor. New to my plate this year, I am also volunteering with the Hugh O'Brien Youth (HOBY) Leadership Texas Gulf Coast Chapter as an incoming Facilitator for their 2024 Leadership Seminar, which is being held at the University of Houston in June 2024. The remainder of my free time is spent on my mile-long list of books to read and documentaries to watch, or by spending quality time with my husband and our dog and cat—a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Salsa and a Maine Coon named Pico. We love to travel (without the pets) to experience new regions, architecture, landmarks, food, and culture, and try to collect art and fridge magnets as we go. Follow along to keep up with my professional journey, and perhaps a partnership will arise in our futures.
